Ma uitam ieri peste programele tv si ma gandeam ca UK este ce este in Europa printre altele si pentru ca priveste lucrurile la scara mare.
Nu se multumeste sa stea cu capul in traista si sa-si numere gaurile.

Priveste genocidul din Sri Lanka si foametea din Nigeria. Alegerile din Franta si tsnuami-ul din Japonia.
Nu cu doua vorbe-trei prostii la emisiunile de stiri ca la noi, ci documentare de 50-60 minute, cu detalii si amanunte interesante ce reusesc sa trezeasca interesul telespectatorului si sa-l si informeze deopotriva.
Astfel omul obisnuit are posibilitatea sa inteleaga la macroscara cum si de ce se misca lucrurile pe planeta asta. De ce unele popoare bat recorduri si altele bat campii, cum se misca averile dintr-o zona a globului in alta si care sunt cauzele pentru care unii isi cresc sansele azi de a avea sanse mai mari maine in timp ce altii isi numara degetele de la maini cu cele de la picioare.

La noi nu se fac nici macar emisiuni de cunoastere a propriilor probleme.
Nici despre aritmetica economica elementara, nici despre modul eficient in care cetateanul obisnuit isi poate rezolva problemele, inclusiv cele financiare, fara sa miorlaie lamentabil ca lui nu-i da nimeni nimic. Ca sa nu mai vorbesc despre interminabilele hotii de pe toate palierele, nivelele, compartimentele, sectoarele....
